An early morning pit-stop at Kohl's this morning...Do you believe to do returns? I'm already returning Christmas presents....somethings not right, this is what I get for guessing no one else got the same thing. I'll just go with great minds think alike!! Also, to try and pick-up a couple small last minute items.
Getting up earlier than I need to, makes for an EXTRA LONG day. I enjoy sleeping too much to do this sort of thing on a regular basis....good thing this time of year is a ONE TIME OF YEAR OCCURRENCE.
How is your week going so far? Last two days of trying to keep the junk food under control....you have come this far with me - let's just push it home and take a break for the holiday! We are going for working the diet & exercise program into a lifestyle change - not making the deit our entire life!
Today's Meals:
Breakfast: Trader Joe's Oatmeal, 1/2 cup grapefruit juice
Snack: 1/2 cup applesauce
Lunch: Rolled Boars head ham & Pepper Jack Cheese, 1 cup Cauliflower & Broccoli heads with 1/4 cup ranch dipping sauce (made with powdered ranch dressing and no fat sour cream)
Dinner: Grocery store roasted chicken breast (always a great, cheap fall back meal when you forgot to take something out of the freezer....see getting up earlier than you have to ... NOT GOOD), 1/2 cup white rice, salad (lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber and low fat italian dressing
Snack: 1/2 cup watermelon cubes (also off the salad bar at grocery store)
Dinner was all about convenience and trying to not do a drive through McDonald's or Wendy's for convenience -or- JUNK FOOD....I know it's food, but with all the extra fats/calories, not worth the slide...I am trying to save my slide for this weekend!
