I woke up hungry and then while getting my lunch together this morning I knew it was going to be a tough day. I was hungry most of day. This diet is low in calories (850+/- calories per day) and I am feeling it. I had thought by the 4th day (today) I would have gotten used to it, but it's been tough.
Breakfast: 1 slice italian bread with 1 teaspoon butter
Lunch: 1 ounce Muenster cheese, 1 sliced tomato, 1 slice Italian Bread with 1 teaspoon
Dinner: 4 ounces turkey breast, 1/2 cup corn, 1 slice rye bread with 1 teaspoon butter and 1 cup raw spinach
I know I need something after kickboxing but other than the squash I choose to skip at dinner, there is nothing left for the day. I'll have to let you know what I decided to do in tomorrows update.
Last night of kickboxing and bummed that it doesn't restart until the 2nd or 3rd week of September...I can't believe I just typed September, Where has the summer gone??
Thinking about old exercise apparatus and thought of the Thighmaster...REMEMBER THAT? (Yes, I did have the original..it might even still be here someplace). I searched on the internet and there is actually a Thighmaster GOLD...not sure what the GOLD Thighmaster has on the original. I thought fashion was the only thing that repeated itself.... I found the original Thighmaster on Overstock.com for $8.69 and the Thighmaster Gold on Amazon for $55.00 - they look the same just different colors. The things we think of buying, buy and use them briefly and they turn into clothing racks (like my old treadmil & exercise bike). We are so hung up on finding the next best thing, sometimes we forget to start from the basics.
If the exercise isn't showig results, mix it up. If the diet isn't working, change it up. Do not get stuck in a never ending cycle of not liking what your results are, blame it on the diet and give up. YOU ARE BETTER THAN THAT AND WORTH IT!
Not every diet or exercise program is for every person. Try something if it works, stick with it, if your bored move on before you blow your success!
YOU CAN DO IT! YOU ARE DOING IT FOR YOU!!
