Breakfast : 3 Egg Whites, 3 slices bacon, 1 Tassimo latte
Lunch: Tomato, Fresh Mozzarella, Pesto on rye panini sandwich (if something is good, I gotta have it again!!!)
Snack: 1 Tastycake coconut cake
Dinner: Steamed veggies and rice (Chinese Take-out), 2 tablespoons garlic sauce ove veggies & rice
Snack: No snack - early to bed as an early morning tomorrow
Weight was the same today as the beginning of this diet. No loss, no gain. It's actually what I am hoping to see at the end of my week of vacation. Being that I have pretty much been stuck between the same 5 pounds (gaining and losing) for the last two months - it would be a welcome relief to go away and not to have gained anything and get back on track after vacation to losing. As with anything, it's what you put in to what you get out. I have been mixing up the diets pretty good over the last couple of months and with kickboxing back in full swing, I am seeing toning in my arms and legs (stomach still MUCHO jiggly), but no movement on the scale.
The Cheaters Diet was good. I think doing more than a week would have given me a better indication of how this diet is - but I was satisfied during the week and being able to have a few things I haven't had in a while on the weekend makes me feel that this could work long term becasue I didn'tr feel like I missed out on anything (Oh Yeah, maybe the pizza - but I just didn't go out....the panini sandwich made up for it!!)
Cheating is a problem with pretty much all diets. I could have been much worse this weekend (MUCH, MUCH WORSE) - but when you have been watching what you eat for so long - you sort of end up putting the brakes on before you go too far. It's at that crucial point where you make the decision - I can have one more piece of cake -or- I can stop here and get back on my diet.
Whatever you are doing to lose weight, tone up or make yourself healthier - KEEP DOING IT!
It's for you and you alone. Make yourself happy.
