The week went well except for when I got to Thursday. I have not idea what came over me BUT I was craving things BIG TIME!! That feeling went into Thursday and I wanted everything I said I wanted....but I prevailed and did not splurge. Not all days are like this as on Sunday I did cave in and had Kettlecorn popcorn
The week brought me down 1.2 pounds. YEAH!!!
I definitely was satisfied with all the food I had. Never a hungry time of day.
During the week I read through the rest of the Curves Book. It is laid out very well. In addition to the questions that determine what diet you are on, Carb Sensitive or Calorie Sensitive, the book covers exercise with illustrations on how to do the exercises, recipes and shopping lists broken down by what you are making for each diet plan.
The diet is supposed to provide slow and steady results. From my experience this past week I would say that it definitely does. Being satisfied with the amount of food I ate and getting three days of exercise in made this plan a doable long term plan.
I personally have never been in a Curves Workout Studio but a few people I know have and have had great results - then there are others that had not so great results. Dieting is hard enough and then to add exercise you really need commitment. The Curves book laid out 30 minutes on 3 days and for most people I think that is a doable plan. I did this one week without belonging to Curves and lost weight. So it can be done with checking out a book from the library and not joining Curves.
Would I do this diet again, yes. Is it good long term, from my past week, I would have to say yes again. Being that once you get past the first phase of this diet and go into the second phase you get to add more variety of foods and because you are eating six times a day your blood sugar is steady throughout the day.
