As I stated in the write-up of this diet - I will be listing the diet pretty much as outlined in book and following it as there are (7) days outlined and it works out perfectly for this week.
Got my 30 minute walk in at lunch (that you weather for cooperating!!)
I have highlighted in orange what I actually had...
Breakfast:
1 medium orange -or- 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
3/4 cup cold whole grain cereal -or-bran cereal with 1/4 cup fresh fruit & 1/2 cup non fat milk
1-2 cups coffee or tea (non fat milk & artificial sweetener)
Lunch:
1 cup soup (any as long as not cream based), the more veggies & beans the better
1 whole wheat or multi grain veggie sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, sprouts, cucumber, carrots or any leafy green veggie. Add Dijon mustard and sliced pickles
1 glass decaffeinate sugar free (coffee, tea or soda)
8 oz glass water
Snack:
1 medium orange or tangerine
8 oz glass of water
Dinner:
Veggie Platter Choose any 4 (1/2 cup each) - broccoli, asparagus, squash, cauliflower, baked beans, carrots, green beans, spinach, mushrooms, stewed tomatoes, cauliflower
1 whole wheat dinner roll (I had one slice ww bread)
4 oz wine or 12 oz light beer
8 oz water
Snack:
1/2 cup raisins with 2 Tblspn nuts (almonds, pecans or walnuts)
-OR-
1 cup mixed fresh fruit (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, purple grapes, banana's, etc)
8 oz glass water
Total Grams Fat: 26.8
Total Grams Fiber: 30.2
WINE....Do you believe it!! I had to open a new bottle just so I could have it! I felt kinda European having a glass of wine with my veggies, but heck WINE!! I know 4 oz is not a lot - but it was satisfying, especially since its already figured into the days meals.
GOOD DAY! Feeling great since the Stacker 2's are pretty much out of my system and I ma onto something new.
I didn't get to post this picture last night as I had already blogged for the day, but here are my stubby finger's done up for pre-Halloween:
Last night I had one of those "I know I bought it, where the hell did I put it sorts of nights"....I had bought fluorescent orange and searched the house like a mad woman only to find this frosted orange - it worked for this week - but now I am on a quest to find the elusive bottle I bought specifically for Halloween.
I didn't lose (or gain) until last night, which if my calculations are right, I am due for my period, hence the 3 pound gain this morning. But it will go away and hopefully I will start seeing some results this week! I keep positive by telling myself, muscle weighs mre than fat.
